Luke is skilled at IT and worked for a company developing videos for clients up until Covid. During the lockdowns, his employer made him go self-employed and then stopped using him. He partnered with another company then, and helped them set up studios for making videos, investing in it, but he was forced out of there too. These experiences taught him a lot but also left him with some mental health issues, and severely short of money because he had invested all his savings in the previous partnership. He pulled himself back together though and although he had no funds, he did still have his own equipment and decided to set up on his own.

His past problems meant he had a poor credit score which ruled him out of all support, including Government backed options. He considered resorting to a payday loan but luckily he remembered Purple Shoots. The loan from Purple Shoots enabled him to secure premises and to employ someone part-time to do his paperwork and admin, leaving him free to find leads and do the filming.

His aim is to offer affordable videos and related social media support to small businesses and charities. Starting price for a video, together with extracts etc is very affordable, as is his social media support and when he met Purple Shoots, he already had clients signed up.
